Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and slice the beef sirloin into thin strips, chop the bell peppers and onion.
  2. In a bowl, combine the beef strips with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add sliced bell peppers and onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. Return beef to the wok, add remaining marinade, stir to combine, and cook for another 2 minutes.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, microwave or stir-fry on the stove until heated through.
  • Avoid freezing as it may change the texture of the beef and vegetables.
