  • ½ cup vodka
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese, grated for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add the vodka and cook for about 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced. Stir in the heavy cream and mix until combined.
  4. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, reserving ½ cup of pasta water. Drain and add the pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat. Adjust the sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
