Description
One-Pot Creamy Spicy Garlic Butter Steak & Pasta is the ultimate comfort food that combines tender steak and perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce. This hassle-free recipe is made in one pot for easy cleanup and packed with flavors that will tantalize your taste buds.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz. pasta (your choice)
- 1 lb. steak (sirloin or ribeye recommended)
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1–2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (adjust for spice level)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh flat-leaf parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by boiling water in a large pot. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the garlic butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak and let it rest before slicing.
- With the steak removed, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning if necessary with more salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the creamy garlic butter sauce, tossing to combine thoroughly. Slice the rested steak and arrange it on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor!
Notes
- This dish can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of cream to restore creaminess.

- Feel free to use any pasta shape you prefer, ensuring the cooking time aligns with that shape.
- For a gluten-free option, substitute regular pasta with gluten-free pasta.
- If you prefer a milder dish, reduce or omit the red pepper flakes.
