Description

Tomato Pasta: A creamy and comforting delight that combines rich flavors of ripe tomatoes with a luscious sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g pasta of your choice (spaghetti, penne, etc.)
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml cooking cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tomatoes by dicing them into small cubes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sautรฉ chopped onions until translucent, then add minced garlic.
  3. Cook pasta in a boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
  4. Add diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook until softened, then stir in the cooking cream and simmer.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.

Notes

  • For leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, add a splash of cream or water if needed.
  • For a vegan version, use coconut cream or cashew cream and omit cheese.
